I have NO idea how people manage multiple blogs. My hat is off to you or it would be if I owned a hat which I do not. I looked at something I posted here yesterday and it had 25 notes, and I was crushed and saddened. Then I remembered 25 notes is good here. This is not bewitchingbritain where less than 50 notes means the image was a dismal horrific failure and I want to delete it. I also end up going on and on about my different blogs which makes me sound extremely self-centred and dull.
Really, my life is very hard, you people just do not know. (Dennis Colette on flickr)

So I haven’t posted here in about a month and when I finally get on, fearing everyone has hurriedly departed in a great pushing shoving scrum, I discover I actually have two hundred more followers than before. Ha ha this is Tumblr’s way of telling me to SHUT THE FUCK UP! I do miss this blog though, and I am going to get on it more. I miss not being able to post things I love or reblog other delights because they aren’t in Britain, they aren’t in Britain, blahblahblah. Not that I am complaining because I LOVE THAT BLOG! Which is now bewitchingbritain  BTW I have almost five thousand followers on that blog! Can you believe I haven’t deleted it? hahaha. (I am referring to my past sordid history which I shall not detail)
oh and I have 117 Asks in my box here HELP ME HELP ME LORD although half the people that wrote them have unfollowed me in disgust by now. But I will answer them all eventually! I promise! hope!

Oh the prettiness. I wish I could do a travel blog for every country. Someone needs to pay me to do this. This is in China, BTW. (by Queensy Chan on beautyineverything.com)

What’s even better than an image of a forest? A teeny tiny twee cottage in a forest!! This is somewhere in Germany. Carmen Neumeier on beautyineverything.com

Wasn’t this sequence otherworldly and dreamy? I just loved little Lily and Snape. I need to see the movie again.

This is in France; isn’t this the luckiest little girl in the world? It’s from valphoebe’s photostream on flickr; s/he has some beautiful forest images as well.

You’ll never guess where I found this. NationalGeographicStock.com and don’t ask me how. I was looking up Exmoor, or Dorset or something. But it has a cat, steps, and loads of dried flowers. Que linda, no?

Saint-Valery-sur-Somme, France. The village is a popular tourist destination owing to its medieval character and ramparts, Gothic church, and long waterside boardwalk.

This is me looking up cottage images. And pictures of Rye (aka magical Narnia land). And kittens. And also when I see a package of mint chocolate chip cookie dough, my bed, or a used bookstore.

This is a promo for my England blog, enchantedengland.tumblr.com. I promise it will be the last promo for said blog. I don’t know why I’m promoting it anyway because that blog has gotten more followers faster than all my other blogs put together, and that’s pretty sweet. Anyway, IF you like cottages, castles, landscapes, England, British history, or JUST PLAIN AWESOMENESS you can check it out.
