Phantasmagorically Lovely

   Here is the question of the day. It is a great puzzle, an unanswerable mystery, a befuddling, baffling perplexing query. Why can’t I take pictures like this? Really, why not? You would think if one has an eye for Lovely Things and can put together a pretty Tumblr they would be able to photograph well. Now, I am not bragging here (OKAY okay so maybe I am but I am bad at everything else! This is all I’ve got man…..don’t bring me down.) but I can put together an excellent Tumblr. I think this is my fifth Tumblr and they have all been quite successful and that is in spite of my annoying personality. Which takes a lot to overcome.

   SO I reiterate- why am I the worst photographer in the whole world? Well I am quite sure no one cares so I shall cease to speculate. I imagine your life will go on just as it did before whether I can take a pretty picture or not. This is by Leslie on flickr, who obviously CAN.

   sweeeeeet I have a whole bunch MORE followers and I figured they were all gone!! I am not worthy. This is actually true. Now on enchantedengland, I boastfully post my follower number because I WORK for them, I’ll tell you that. It takes more time than you think to find that stuff and look it up etc. But I have been very lazy on this blog.

   Then again, the only reason I unfollow peoplpe (other than the person who started posting child porn and yeah I WISH I were joking about that) is because they post too much and you can’t see anyone else’s stuff cuz they have gone insane with reblogging. I think one reason my blogs have always done pretty well is I never, ever, EVER post more than ten things a day. Never!    I have been terribly neglectful because my England blog (renamed ONCE AND FOR ALL as enchantedengland.tumblr.com. Enchanted England. Easy to remember, right?) has sucked my soul way down deep into its verdant, stunning countryside. And I started a photostream on Flickr as well. And I have an excuse for everything.

   Anyway, less of me is much better than more:) and many of you THE MOST WONDERFUL ONES OF ALL follow both blogs.

   A charming little cottage in Brooklyn, where the rental of one room would cost you ten thousand dollars a month. But LOOK AT THOSE TREES!!!

   This is the best tablescape ever and that is that. It’s totally and utterly gorgeous. HOW do people do this??? If I tried this, those flowers would tumble out into people’s plates of food, those glass beads would tangle up in the candles and knock them over, and then table linen would blaze up like Fiendfyre and someone would call the fire department. This is why I post things on Tumblr. The world is a safer place, believe me.

   Does anyone else absolutely hate, loathe, and desperately despise IRONING? That is my random question for the day. Because I have an up-ended ironing board, a piece of linen flung angrily onto the couch, and an iron that emits as much heat as Delores Umbridge french-kissing a Mudblood. I cannot take it I am telling you. I would pay a House Elf half my salary to come iron all my shit for me. Although they’d refuse the pay, right?? Ooooh I so want a House Elf!!!!

  I am utterly enamored with ships that boast great white billowing masts as they sail dreamily atop sparkling blue waters of freedom. I am also certain Johnny Depp is aboard this ship. This is the best ship ever.
